R1B Perforated Acoustic Panel
Good noise-reduction performance is an important consideration in modern buildings. By varying the type of insulating core and applying perforation to the surface steel sheet, noise inside and outside the building can be reduced.
A range of acoustic materials are available, such as rock wool and glass wool.
Changing the type and density of the insulating core reduces impact noise on the metal surface, and sound-absorbing material in the core suppresses resonance-generated noise.
The combination of regular perforations in the steel sheet and acoustic material inside the panel produces different acoustic effects. Tests show that, depending on the frequency of external noise and the thickness of the core, this noise reduction reaches no less than 29 dB.
