Perhaps because structural rock wool offers compressive, shear and tensile strengths several times those of ordinary rock wool, or because its fiber shear modulus far exceeds the plastic-deformation safety of ordinary rock wool, or because its unique manufacturing process delivers a high fire-resistance rating and mirror-like flatness — thanks to these advantages, along with the airtightness of its construction and the water repellency of its core material, SW1 is widely used in the internal insulation systems of special venues and the external envelope systems of large-span venues.
